Bank of Tennessee was originally opened in downtown Kingsport TN in 1974 after the owner of Carter County Bank saw a view to expansion in the Tri-Cities area. In 2013 the two banks merged. The bank has now acquired 20 offices from which they operate but still are totally committed to their public and the community they are serving in. The bank is 98% locally owned and 100% of the bank`s decisions are made locally. It`s a fact that looking after those who look after the bank has create the strength and financial dynamism that has produced stable growth since the bank began. A development into online banking for customers has meant that the user of these accounts is able to be more involved on a regular basis with what happens to their money and when it happens. With a computer or mobile device customers can be even more a part of the bank.
