Bank of Hampton Roads provides online banking to all of it’s banking customers to assist in making it possible for their clients to do banking business beyond banking hours. If a user would like to view their online account, they may do so by using a computer and/or any supported mobile device.
Bank of Hampton Roads also known as Gateway Bank, has locations from Virginia Beach, Virginia, where they are headquartered through the North Carolina coastal areas for the most part. Some of the features this bank offers with it’s online banking services are, online bill payments, funds transfers, view online balances with any of your accounts, among many other conveniences. Should a client choose to login to their account they must access the home page and login with an Access ID and Password.
How To Login
Step 1 – Go to www.gatewaybankandtrust.com – In the “Online Banking” area, in the upper right side of the home page, choose which type of account you would like to access and click the appropriate bubble. Enter your Access ID. Click “Login”
Step 2 – After you’ve entered your login credentials and logged in, you will be guided to the next page of your login where you will enter your password. This is an added layer of security for your informational security. Once you’ve entered your password you’ll arrive to your Online Banking account page where you will be able to begin using your account to conduct your banking business
Forgotten Password – If you find that you are unable to recall your password information, you must contact customer service for ID or password reset. You may contact customer service at www.gatewaybankandtrust.com or you may call 1-800-264-5578 for further assistance with password reset. You will then be able to again, access your account.
How To Enroll
Step 1 – If you’re prepared to enroll in online banking services, go to This Page – provide the following information:
- Select your account type from the drop down box
- Email address (this will be used primarily for password reminders)
- Access ID (your bank account number
- Password (this would be the last 4 digits of your SSN or Telebanc PIN)
- All fields are required
- Click “Submit”
After you have entered and submitted your information you will be taken through the remaining portion of your enrollment privately. When you complete your enrollment, you will then be able to login with an Access ID and Password. It will be then that you will be able to enter your account any time 24 hours per day, for your banking convenience.
