Bank of Akron offers it’s clients online banking in order to offer even more convenience than the traditional branch and ATM banking. These services are still available to their clients should they wish to continue face to face banking or ATM service. Should a user choose to access their online banking services, they may do so by computer or any supported mobile device.
Bank of Akron has remained a small, community style banking system, in the state of New York ,since 1900. As technology has progressed, so has the bank, to allow clients the ability to do most banking business tasks any time of the day. Some of the online services offered by the bank are checking account service such as the ability to self monitor any account an account holder may have, online bill pay, online fund transfer, the ability to order checks. They also offer lines of credit that may be monitored and paid online by the user. If a user would like to login to their account, they must access the home page and enter their User ID and do a human verification before being presented with the site key and password page.
How To Login
Step 1 – Go to www.bankofakron.com – When you reach the home page, in the upper left side of the page, in the “Online Banking” box, enter your User ID. You must then do a human verification by typing the characters from the next box into the “Random Code” field.
Step 2 – Once you have entered your User ID and random code you will then be taken to the next security page where you will verify an image you have chosen called a “site key,” you will then enter your password and be directed to your account page
Forgotten Password – If you are unable to remember your password, you must call the bank and they will reset your password internally only. There is no online option for resetting the password yourself. Call 1-800-423-7503
How To Enroll
Step 1 – Currently, there is no way to enroll online. In order to enroll for online banking you must either go to a bank branch or you must call and set up your online banking over the telephone as stated in answer to the first question on This Page
Step 2 – After you have either appeared at one of the branch locations or called the bank and signed up, you may then login by entering your User ID, entering the characters into the “random code” box, verifying your site key and then entering your password provided when you enrolled. You will then have full access to the bank’s online banking features and may begin using your online account
