The Bank of Hawaii was founded in 1897 in Honolulu, Hawaii and to this day is the largest independent financial institution in the state. Although the bank has expanded internationally to various locations in the pacific, they strive to keep their values of providing excellent member communication and useful banking services in Hawaii as their primary goal. In addition to being a very walk-in friendly bank, they offer an online banking service that can allow members to transfer their funds, view images of their checks, save online bank statements, receive account alerts, and many more useful features.
How to Login
Step 1 – First, navigate your web browser to the Bank of Hawaii Online Site Home Page. After reaching the page, look to the left-hand side of your page where you should see a blue box with the words “Sign On to e-BankOH” on the top. Depending on the region in which your account is located, either select the first or second bubble. Next, enter your e-BankOH User ID into the empty text box and click the yellow “Go” button to continue with the login process.
Step 2 – On the next page, a mostly white screen should appear with only a single empty text box and two white buttons. Enter your password into the text box and click the “Sign In” button directly under it to be logged into your account.
How to Register
Step 1 – Make your way to the Bank of Hawaii Online Site Home Page, where you should see a blue box to the left side of your screen. Look to the lower left portion of the box select the “Enroll” option.
Step 2 – Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the orange “Continue” button to advance on the registration procedure.
Step 3 – After making your way to the ‘Get an application’ screen, answer questions one and two which ask for the location in which you would like to open an account and the type of customer you are. After filling-in your choices, click the orange button on the bottom of the page.
Step 4 – On the next page will be a single question and an agreement ‘Check-Box’ that will need to be selected. Select one of the five ways to verify your identity and then select the yellow “Continue” button on the bottom of the page to complete step 4.
Step 5 – For the “Online Banking Enrollment” page, enter your required personal and account information such as your social security number, your full name, email(s), etc. Note that you may be required to input different types of information than what was shown depending on what bubbled options you selected in both steps 3 and 4. If everything up to the current step was entered correctly and accurately, you should now be close or ready to submit your application for an online account with The Bank of Hawaii.
